BIO

Jayme has been playing live music since being taught to play guitar and shoved onstage by his grandfather as a child. He played in several bands throughout his youth and filled several different roles including bassist, rhythm guitarist, and of course, frontman. Genres he has moved through include rock, grunge, metal, ska, punk, and acoustic. Most recently, Jayme fronted the hard rock act, Invictus, in Topeka Kansas in the early 2010's, releasing one album and performing throughout the NE Kansas region with a following that still asks about a reunion from time to time. With dissolution of Invictus, Jayme took a break from performing to focus on an established career in Law Enforcement.

In 2012 Jayme wrote and recorded the song Sacrifice after the Topeka Police Department lost two officers in the line of duty. Jayme had the unfortunate opportunity to perform Sacrifice at their funerals as well as another line of duty funeral that followed not even two years later. He also had the honor to perform the song at the National Law Enforcement Memorial Services in Washington DC in front of 40,000 people and a live television broadcast in the Spring of 2015.

In 2017, Jayme once again returned to performing when he recruited Invictus bandmate, RJ Soldani. The duo began performing as Soldani and Green, branding themselves as rock music for country fans and country music for rock fans. After playing several shows together, RJ stepped away to focus on family (although he still returns to the stage to accompany Jayme when asked really nicely) and Jayme continued on as a solo act. He plays throughout NE Kansas and the midwest, frequenting wineries and micro-breweries. Jayme plays acoustic originals and covers across a wide variety of genres including singer-songwriter, classic rock, 90's,rock, and country but he'll play just about anything the crowd wants to hear... most of the time anyway.

Most recently, Jayme has added music theatre to his repertoire. In early 2020, he was cast as the villian, Commander Khashoggi, in the Topeka Civic Theatre's production of the musical We Will Rock Youfeaturing music by Queen. This has been an exciting new outlet for Jayme that he plans to continue in the future.
